1. Operator
The operator of the self-service gym GymRoom Smíchov, Plzeňská 488/39, 150 00 Prague 5, is Dio Gym Smíchov, s.r.o., Company ID (IČO): 29510422, with its registered office at Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 447148. Contact: info@gymroom.cz, +420 732 425 971.
The operating rules are binding for all individuals present in the gym. They supplement the General Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry
- The gym is open nonstop (24/7); entry is permitted only during reserved times.
- Entry is granted via an access code sent by email. The code is non-transferable.
- The gym may be used independently by individuals aged 18 and older. Persons aged 15 to 17 may only use it with the written consent of a legal guardian (download form), younger individuals only when accompanied by an adult who made the reservation.
- A maximum of 3 people may be present in the gym at the same time within the standard reservation price, or up to a maximum of 5 people with an additional fee.
3. Safety
- The gym is unstaffed and unsupervised. You exercise at your own risk.
- Use the equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with instructions. Select weights according to your abilities.
- Exercise only in good health. If you feel unwell, stop exercising immediately.
- You are responsible for your guests and any minors you bring along.
4. Hygiene and Cleanliness
- Wear clean athletic shoes and clothing; change in the dressing room.
- Use a towel while exercising, disinfect used equipment, and return it to its designated place.
- Return the premises to their original state before leaving, and depart no later than the end of your reservation.
5. Prohibitions
It is strictly prohibited to smoke, consume alcohol or other addictive substances, enter under their influence, bring animals, handle open flames or hazardous substances, damage equipment, sublet the gym, or record pornographic content in the gym. Nighttime quiet hours apply from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
6. Faults, Injuries, and Emergencies
- Report any malfunction or damage immediately to +420 732 425 971 or info@gymroom.cz.
- Report an injury or emergency immediately to +420 732 425 971.
- In life-threatening situations, call 112 or emergency medical services at 155.
7. CCTV System
The branch is monitored by a camera system with video and audio recording for the protection of persons and property. Recordings are retained for 14 days. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
8. Violation of Operating Rules
In the event of a violation of the operating rules, the operator may terminate the rental without refund, refuse future reservations, and demand compensation for damages. Exceeding the reserved time may be billed according to the price list.
9. Validity and Effectiveness
These operating rules become effective on October 18, 2026. The operator reserves the right to amend them; the updated version will be published on gymroom.cz.
