1. Who We Are
1.1. The GymRoom Plzeň Skvrňany branch, located at Karla Steinera 910/7, 318 00 Plzeň, is operated by GRM PrivateGym s.r.o., Company ID (IČO): 29528593, with its registered office at Luďka Pika 470/15, Doudlevce, 301 00 Plzeň, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Plzeň, Section C, Insert 48466 (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator"). You enter into a short-term gym rental contract with the Operator.
1.2. The gymroom.cz website, booking system, user accounts, credits, and vouchers are operated by GymRoom CZ s.r.o., Company ID (IČO): 21136947, with its registered office at Kurzova 2222/16, Stodůlky, 155 00 Prague 5, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 397263 (hereinafter referred to as "GymRoom"). You enter into a contract regarding the user account, credits, and vouchers with GymRoom. GymRoom collects payments for reservations on behalf of and for the account of the Operator.

1.4. In accordance with Section 1751 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Code"), these terms and conditions govern the relationship between you (hereinafter referred to as the "Client"), the Operator, and GymRoom. The branch operating rules form an integral part of the contract. The contract is concluded in Czech. The English and Ukrainian versions of the terms, rules and forms are translations; in case of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails. The relationship is governed by Czech law. This does not deprive the consumer of the protection granted by the laws of their country of residence.
1.5. By confirming a reservation or purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions and the operating rules.
2. Client Age
2.1. Reservations and user accounts may only be made by a person over 18 years of age. By confirming a reservation, the Client declares that they are over 18 years of age. Neither the Operator nor GymRoom verifies age and relies on the Client's declaration.
2.2. A person aged 15 to 17 may use the gym independently only with the written consent of a legal representative, sent in advance to info@gymroom.cz using the GymRoom form: Consent of Legal Representative (PDF download). In this form, the legal representative confirms that the minor is medically fit for exercise and that they have independently assessed the unsupervised use of the gym. The legal representative is liable for any damage caused by the minor.
2.3. A person under 15 years of age, or a person aged 15 to 17 without the consent pursuant to Section 2.2, may only enter the gym accompanied by an adult who made the reservation. This person must supervise them at all times and is responsible for them.
3. User Account
3.1. A reservation can be made with or without an account. Please provide truthful information during registration and booking, and keep it updated in case of any changes.
3.2. Keep your account credentials secure and do not share them with third parties.
3.3. GymRoom may cancel your account if you do not use it for more than 24 months, or in accordance with Section 8.8.
3.4. The account may not be available continuously, especially due to system maintenance.
4. Credits and Vouchers
4.1. Credits and vouchers are issued by GymRoom. 1 credit equals 1 CZK. Credits can be used to pay for reservations and other services at all GymRoom branches. Branches accept them on the basis of a contract with GymRoom.
4.2. You can acquire credits by topping up your account, activating a voucher, receiving them as a bonus, or as a refund when canceling a reservation in time.
4.3. Both credits and vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of crediting to the account (or from the date of purchase for vouchers), unless stated otherwise in the offer. After the expiration date, they lapse without compensation.
4.4. Credits cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for cash, except in the case of withdrawal under Section 4.6 and account cancellation under Section 8.8.
4.5. The recipient redeems the voucher by entering the code into their account. Vouchers for personal training sessions can be redeemed with the trainers listed in the voucher offer.
4.6. A consumer may cancel a credit top-up or voucher purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of payment. Simply send a notification to info@gymroom.cz; you may use the withdrawal form (PDF download). GymRoom will refund the amount for unused credits or vouchers within 14 days using the same payment method as used for the original transaction. Credits obtained via reservation cancellation or as a bonus cannot be refunded.
5. Reservation and Payment
5.1. You reserve the gym in the booking system on the gymroom.cz website in 15-minute blocks, for a minimum duration of 30 minutes (2 blocks).
5.2. The price is governed by the branch's price list, which you see during the reservation process. Prices are final.
5.3. Payment can be made by card via the Comgate a.s. payment gateway or using credits. Payments for reservations are collected by GymRoom on behalf of and for the account of the Operator. A receipt will be sent to you by email.
5.4. The rental contract is concluded upon payment of the reservation. A confirmation will arrive via email, and the access code will be sent no later than one hour before the start of the reservation.
5.5. Gym rental is a leisure activity service provided on a specific date. Therefore, it is not possible to withdraw from the rental contract without stating a reason (Section 1837(j) of the Civil Code). The same applies to personal training sessions and classes scheduled for a specific date and time.
6. Cancellation and Modification of Reservations
6.1. You can cancel a reservation in your account no later than 24 hours before it starts. We will refund the price in credits with a 12-month validity.
6.2. In the event of a later cancellation or non-use of the reservation, the price is not refunded. Late arrival or early departure does not entitle you to a discount.
6.3. If the Operator cannot provide the rental—for example, due to a breakdown, accident, or third-party intervention—the reservation will be canceled or an alternative date offered. The Client may choose a full refund, processed using the same payment method as was used for the original transaction.
6.4. Personal training sessions and classes can be canceled or rescheduled no later than 24 hours in advance, and the price will be refunded in credits. In the event of a later cancellation, the price is not refunded.
7. Using the Gym
7.1. You may use the gym only for the duration of the reservation. Changing clothes, showering, and tidying up must all be completed before the end of the reservation. The Operator may charge an additional fee according to the price list for each commenced 15-minute block beyond the reserved time.
7.2. A maximum of 3 people, including the Client, may be in the gym at the same time within the price of the reservation. For an additional fee of CZK 100 per reservation, 2 more people may join, making a total of up to 5 people. The Client may also bring their own trainer or clients; they count towards the total number of persons.
7.3. The access code is intended solely for the Client and their guests within the reservation. You must not share it with other persons or sublease the gym.
7.4. Inspect the premises and equipment upon arrival. Report any damage, missing equipment, or mess immediately to +420 732 425 971 or info@gymroom.cz, preferably with a photo. If you do not report anything, it is assumed that you took over the premises in good order.
7.5. Smoking, consuming alcohol or other intoxicating substances, entering under their influence, bringing animals, using open flames, and recording pornographic content are strictly prohibited in the gym.
7.6. Please observe night-time quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, the branch operating rules, and the Operator's instructions.
7.7. Leave the premises in their original condition and return all equipment to its place.
7.8. The branch is monitored by a CCTV system with video and audio recording. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
8. Safety and Liability
8.1. The gym is self-service, unstaffed, and unsupervised. The Client exercises at their own risk and is solely responsible for their choice of exercises, weights, and method of equipment use.
8.2. The Client declares that they are medically fit to exercise. In case of medical problems, they will consult a physician prior to exercising. If they feel unwell during exercise, they will stop immediately.
8.3. The Client is responsible for the safety and conduct of their guests and for any damage caused by them. They are also responsible for supervising any minors they bring.
8.4. Neither the Operator nor GymRoom is liable for injury or other harm that the Client or their guests cause to themselves, in particular through improper or reckless exercise, using equipment contrary to its intended purpose, or breaching these terms and conditions or the operating rules.
8.5. Report any injury or accident immediately to +420 732 425 971. In life-threatening emergencies, call 112 or 155.
8.6. The gym does not have a supervised storage area. Keep items you bring with you under your own supervision and do not bring valuables.
8.7. The Client shall compensate for any damage caused to the premises and equipment by them or their guests. If the gym cannot be rented out as a result, they will also compensate for the loss of rental income for that period.
8.8. In the event of a gross violation of these terms and conditions or the operating rules, the Operator may terminate the rental with immediate effect without a refund and refuse further reservations. GymRoom may cancel the Client's account in such a case. Any unused, currently valid credits paid for with real money will be refunded.
8.9. The provisions of this section do not exclude or limit liability to the extent prohibited by law.
9. Defects and Complaints
9.1. If the gym or equipment is not in proper working order, report the defect without undue delay, preferably on the spot with a photo, to info@gymroom.cz or +420 732 425 971.
9.2. If the defect limits the use of the gym, you are entitled to a reasonable discount. If it makes use impossible, you are entitled to a refund using the same payment method as was used for the original transaction.
9.3. We will confirm receipt of the complaint by email and resolve it no later than within 30 days. Details are governed by the complaints procedure.
9.4. You have no rights arising from defective performance if the defect was caused by the Client or their guests.
10. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
10.1. Complaints are handled via info@gymroom.cz.
10.2. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority, www.adr.coi.cz, is competent for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes. Supervision over compliance with consumer protection obligations is exercised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, www.coi.cz.
11. Final Provisions
11.1. For each reservation and purchase, the wording of the terms and conditions effective at the time of confirmation shall apply.
11.2. GymRoom will notify users of changes to the terms and conditions regarding accounts, credits, and vouchers via email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before then.
11.3. Written form includes email.
11.4. If any provision becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
11.5. These terms and conditions are effective from October 18, 2026.
